Maria Donovan joined the Civica team in 2024. She began her career in association and non-profit management working with a regional Chamber of Commerce and Convention Bureau. She has over 15 years experience in association meetings, conferences and membership management having served as a Director of Meetings and Expositions, Director of Membership and Associate Director for various non-profit associations based in the Washington,DC and Baltimore, MD areas. Maria is passionate about relationship-building and creating meetings and events where people come together to share ideas, expand their knowledge and make valuable connections. Maria holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Bonaventure University.

What I like to do in my off hours: In my free time, you'll find me at a concert or live music event with my husband, balancing in tree pose in a Vinyasa yoga class, delving into one of my over 100 cookbooks, or on the first base line at an Orioles game with my son fueling my baseball obsession.
